10 Worst Football Clubs in 2021-22
By Jim James
The Most unwanted title in the game? Perhaps so. The hunt for the 10 Worst Clubs in the World can be limitless with all the leagues in the world, and I’ve been researching since Monday and I’ve just scratched the surface of the worst in the world. However, I’ve conducted a pretty good list, and believe that I’ve done pretty well here. Without Further ado, I present: the 10 Worst Football Clubs in 2021-22!
10: NK Bratsvo Radkovci
League: ZNL Osjecko-Baranjska (Croatian Amateur)
Games Played: 19
Points: 0
Goal Difference: -61
If it just gets worse after this, I fear what comes next. Bratsvo has lost all of their games – as have many other teams, and didn’t score any goals until their 8th game, a 2-4 loss vs NK Radnik Josipovac. Their biggest loss was 7-0 against NK FESK Fercansi. They have actually conceded 70, but scored 9.
- AS Napoli Nord
League: Eccellenza Camania Girone B
Games Played: 23
Points: 0
Goal Difference: -71
I told you, just getting worse. If Bratsvo has a 7-0 loss, Napoli Nord has an 8-0 loss, against Napoli United. They actually did score in their first game, a respectable 2-1 loss. However it all kicked off, and here they are at Number 9.
- Grifone Giallverde
League: Eccellenza Lazio Girone A
Games Played: 25
Points: 0
Goal Difference: -73
Only marginally worse than Napoli Nord, even though they’ve played 2 more, they get here for a 10-0 loss in October to Polisportiva Favl Cimini. They are 18 points behind 2nd last in the league, and 58 behind the league leaders. Wow.
- AO Chalis Varypetrou
League: A EPS Chanion
Games Played: 24
Points: 1
Goal Difference: -82
*Gasp* a team with points? Yes, I know. However, a minus 82 goal difference is nothing to ignore. They have 6 5+ goal losses this season, and 12 4+ goal losses. They deserve a spot here on our list.
- FK Radnicki Sombor
League: PFL Sombor
Games Played: 19
Points: 0
Goal Difference: -88
Here’s a team who blows the others out of the water. Tied for the least games played, but the worst goal difference. They conceded 6+ 9 times so far, including in their first 5 games of the season. Really quite pathetic.
- UE Engordany B
League: Segona Divisio
Games Played: 19
Points: 1
Goal Difference: -92
These two were really tight. Maybe I should have put Sombor Ahead just for the fact that they don’t have any points, but this is my answer. Engordany may have a -92 GD, but they actually have conceded 114 times, putting them 5th here. They’ve scored 22, which is for the first and only time in this list, they average more than 1.0 gpg. However, they’ve really been let down in conceded goals, conceding 10 in a game three times, including a 14-1 battering and 11-2 battering.
- SS Atlético Lazio
League: Eccellenza Lazio Girone C
Games Played: 26
Points: 0
Goal Difference: -122
There was a “big 4” when constructing this list and this is the best team in it. *Gulp*. While they’ve conceded 10 “only” once, they’ve conceded 7+ 6 times, and only scored 4. They’re so bad that 6th worst in the league has a +7 goal difference.
- ZNK Neretva Metkovic
League: 1.HLNZ
Games Played: 13
Points: 1
Goal Difference: -114
Yes, this team actually does have a -114 goal difference in 13 games. I was left gaping when I found this out. This goal difference is so high thanks to a TWENTY-FIVE NIL loss in which it was 13-0 at half time and 3 goals in 3 minutes. Wow. They also boast losses of 19-0, 15-0, and two 12-0 ones. This makes you wonder, how have they got a point? To be honest, I have no clue.
- Alttila Samnium
League: Eccellenza Molise
Games Played: 24
Points: 3
Goal Difference: -175
The first team with a win here. This team started with a 10-0 loss, and have had losses of 9-0, 13-0, 14-1, 14-0, 16-2, 15-1, 15-0, and 17-0. Absolutely dreadful.
- AS Pieve di Lota U19
League: Championnat National U19
Games Played: 21
Points: 0
Goal Difference: -147
The Worst team in the world, the winner (or loser?) is AS Pieve di Lota U19. With a -147 goal difference, losing all of their 21 games, and getting defeats of 11-0, 14-0, and 21-0. The team that inspired this list wins it. I’m Jim James, until next time.
