Who is the true NBA goat? Analysing competitors to decide who is truly the goat

Hello, I am Jim James, and I am going to analyse all the contenders for the NBA goat and see who truly deserves the crown.

Scoring:

5 per all star

10 per all nba

35 per MVP

10 for ROTY

15 per DPOY

30 per Ring

35 per Finals MVP

Competitor No. 1: Michael Jordan – The Favorite

First up we have the consensus GOAT: Michael Jordan.

14 all stars – 70 points

11 all nbas – 110 points

5 MVPS – 175 points

ROTY – 10 points

1 DPOY – 15 points

6 Rings – 180 points

6 Finals MVPs – 210 points

770 Total Points

An already pretty impressive total, 770 points. We could already have our winner here. 14 all stars, 5 MVPS, 11 All-NBAs, 6 Rings, all of them getting Finals MVPs. Amazing.

Competitor No. 2: Lebron James – The New Kid

16 all stars – 80 points

16 all nbas – 160 points

4 MVPs – 140 points

ROTY – 10 points

0 DPOYs

4 Rings – 120 points

4 Finals MVPs – 140 points

650 Total Points

Our first confirmed – Non GOAT. He has still had a pretty impressive career, and it isn’t over yet. He probably won’t get to the numbers that MJ put up, but again, amazing.

Competitor No. 3: Wilt Chamberlain – The Dominance King

13 all stars – 65 points

10 all nbas – 100 points

4 MVPs – 140 points

ROTY – 10 points

0 DPOYs

2 Rings – 60 points

1 Finals MVP – 35 points

410 points

Wilt. He was the most dominant player in the league’s history and definitely deserves a shout among the greats. Maybe It’s just unluckininess, but the stats don’t put how good he was. However, he can’t win this war.

Competitor No. 4: Kobe Bryant – The Laker King

18 all stars – 90 points

15 all nbas – 150 points

1 MVP – 35 points

No ROTY

0 DPOYs

5 Rings – 150 points

2 Finals MVPs – 75 Points

500 Points

Again, an amazing player, but a little short on MVPs and Finals MVPs, but he was still an amazing player and one of if not the best Laker of all time. He may not deserve this title, but he is certainly up there.

Competitor No. 5: Bill Russell – The Ring King

12 all stars – 60 points

11 all nba – 110 points

5 mvps – 175 points

No ROTY

0 DPOYs

11 Rings – 330 points

0 Finals MVPs

675 Points

Closest to MJ yet, and if DPOYs or Finals MVPs were a thing, I am sure he would take the lead. Again, top top player, and deserves to be there in the best all time.

1: Michael Jordan

2: Bill Russell

3: Lebron James

4: Kobe Bryant

5: Wilt Chamberlain
