11:11 pm BST: Chelsea reach €45m agreement for Camara
According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tovolieri, Chelsea and Monaco have reached an agreement in the region of €45m for midfielder Lamine Camara. The 22-year-old played 24 Ligue 1 matches for Monaco last season, netting three goals.
11:28 pm BST: “Liverpool pick up phone for Estevao”
Unverified reports from anonymous Twitter journalist Indykaila claim that Liverpool Sporting Director Richard Hughes made a call to Chelsea to enquire about the availability of 19-year-old Estevao. Indykaila claims the Chelsea representative replied “Call back tomorrow”.
The 19-year-old signed last summer from Palmeiras played only about 1500 minutes for Chelsea last season, and will not be a part of Chelsea’s starting front three when everyone is healthy.

11:33 pm: Fiorentina reach agreement to sign Beto
Fiorentina have reached an agreement with Everton to sign forward Beto for an unknown fee, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Portuguese striker will undergo his medical tomorrow.
11:52 BST: Juventus lead race for Woltemade
Italian giants Juventus are currently leading the race to sign Newcastle forward Nick Woltemade on loan, according to talkSPORT. The Bianconeri are looking to bring in a striker following the potential departure of Jonathan David.
12:16 am BST: Tigers reach agreement for Vaz
Hull City have reached an agreement with Marseille to sign promising young striker Robinio Vaz on loan from Roma. Initial loan fee is €2m, with a buy option of €30m. Vaz will travel to Hull in the next 24 hours.
1:37 am BST: Porto agrees to Souza loan
An agreement has been reached between Porto and Spurs for the loan of Brazilian LB Souza until June 2027. It will be a straight loan, with Porto covering 100% salary. The 20-year-old played just four matches for Spurs after his January move.
2:00 am BST: Sleepytime
It appears everyone in Europe is sleeping. The Vaz and Souza deals are our only pieces of news in the past two hours. We wish everybody in Europe a good rest before this busy deadline day.
2:35 am BST: No Alvarez deal coming today
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Barcelona have ruled a move for Julian Alvarez this summer “impossible”, and will settle for Gabriel Jesus as their striker signing. The Catalans will keep Alvarez as a top target and try again for a January move, however. Atletico would allow Alvarez to leave and join Arsenal, but the Argentine’s dream move remains Barca.
2:57 am BST: Jim James realizes deadline day isn’t until Tuesday
According to reports, Jim James has been hyping up deadline day all evening just to realize the window doesn’t close on August 31st, but September 1st. He was wondering why there was so little hype around it. Looks like this post will go on for two days instead of just one.
4:30 am BST: Football clubs seem to forget window is still open
As we reach the three hour mark without any major updates, it seems like football clubs have simply forgot that there is a transfer window still open and that it will close in less than 48 hours.
4:49 am BST: Sao Paulo set to sign Icardi
Brazilian side Sao Paulo’s attacker search is set to conclude with the signing of Argentine forward Mauro Icardi, according to Ekrem Konur. Details of the transfer are currently unknown, but the 33-year-old scored 14 goals in 31 Turkish Super Lig matches last season.
5:47 am BST: Roma bid for Leweling rejected
Stuttgart have rejected Roma’s opening bid of a €5m loan fee with a €40m option to buy for Jamie Leweling. Roma face stiff competition from Liverpool and Everton.

6:00 am BST: Mac Allister staying at Liverpool, says father
In an interview with Winwin, Alexis Mac Allister’s father has said “Alexis is not thinking of leaving Liverpool. He wants to stay at the club” amid ongoing contract extension talks.
