11:11 pm BST: Chelsea reach €45m agreement for Camara
According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tovolieri, Chelsea and Monaco have reached an agreement in the region of €45m for midfielder Lamine Camara. The 22-year-old played 24 Ligue 1 matches for Monaco last season, netting three goals.
11:28 pm BST: “Liverpool pick up phone for Estevao”
Unverified reports from anonymous Twitter journalist Indykaila claim that Liverpool Sporting Director Richard Hughes made a call to Chelsea to enquire about the availability of 19-year-old Estevao. Indykaila claims the Chelsea representative replied “Call back tomorrow”.
The 19-year-old signed last summer from Palmeiras played only about 1500 minutes for Chelsea last season, and will not be a part of Chelsea’s starting front three when everyone is healthy.
11:33 pm BST: Fiorentina reach agreement to sign Beto
Fiorentina have reached an agreement with Everton to sign forward Beto for an unknown fee, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Portuguese striker will undergo his medical tomorrow.
11:52 pm BST: Juventus lead race for Woltemade
Italian giants Juventus are currently leading the race to sign Newcastle forward Nick Woltemade on loan, according to talkSPORT. The Bianconeri are looking to bring in a striker following the potential departure of Jonathan David.
12:16 am BST: Tigers reach agreement for Vaz
Hull City have reached an agreement with Marseille to sign promising young striker Robinio Vaz on loan from Roma. Initial loan fee is €2m, with a buy option of €30m. Vaz will travel to Hull in the next 24 hours.
1:37 am BST: Porto agrees to Souza loan
An agreement has been reached between Porto and Spurs for the loan of Brazilian LB Souza until June 2027. It will be a straight loan, with Porto covering 100% salary. The 20-year-old played just four matches for Spurs after his January move.

2:35 am BST: No Alvarez deal coming today
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Barcelona have ruled a move for Julian Alvarez this summer “impossible”, and will settle for Gabriel Jesus as their striker signing. The Catalans will keep Alvarez as a top target and try again for a January move, however. Atletico would allow Alvarez to leave and join Arsenal, but the Argentine’s dream move remains Barca.
2:57 am BST: Jim James realizes deadline day isn’t until Tuesday
According to reports, Jim James has been hyping up deadline day all evening just to realize the window doesn’t close on August 31st, but September 1st. He was wondering why there was so little hype around it. Looks like this post will go on for two days instead of just one.
4:30 am BST: Football clubs seem to forget window is still open
As we reach the three hour mark without any major updates, it seems like football clubs have simply forgot that there is a transfer window still open and that it will close in less than 48 hours.
4:49 am BST: Sao Paulo set to sign Icardi
Brazilian side Sao Paulo’s attacker search is set to conclude with the signing of Argentine forward Mauro Icardi, according to Ekrem Konur. Details of the transfer are currently unknown, but the 33-year-old scored 14 goals in 31 Turkish Super Lig matches last season.
5:47 am BST: Roma bid for Leweling rejected
Stuttgart have rejected Roma’s opening bid of a €5m loan fee with a €40m option to buy for Jamie Leweling. Roma face stiff competition from Liverpool and Everton.
6:00 am BST: Mac Allister staying at Liverpool, says father
In an interview with Winwin, Alexis Mac Allister’s father has said “Alexis is not thinking of leaving Liverpool. He wants to stay at the club” amid ongoing contract extension talks.
6:45 am BST: Koln agrees to sign Spurs’ Moore on loan
In the early hours of Monday morning, German FC Koln have reached an agreement to sign promising Spurs youngster Mikey Moore on a straight loan until 2027, according to Fabrizio Romano. Last season, Moore was loaned out to Rangers, where he was a main fixture in the team, netting 7 times in 47 appearances.

After securing a £40m deal to join Chelsea, 18-year-old Atalanta defender Honest Ahanor will join Crystal Palace on loan for the 2026/27 season. The Italy international will join up with Chelsea in Summer 2027.
7:00 am BST: Spurs enquire about Pulisic
Spurs have made an enquiry to AC Milan about signing 27-year-old winger Christian Pulisic in the last days of the window, according to TEAMtalk. No other information is known.
7:03 am BST: Chelsea pushing Tosin exit
According to new Fabrizio Romano reports, Chelsea are pushing for an exit from Tosin Adarabioyo in the last hours of the window. Talks are underway.
7:09 am BST: Jesus to undergo Barca medical today
Gabriel Jesus is expected to land in Barcelona and complete his Barca medical before signing with the club today. The 29-year-old will sign for a fee of €10m with €5m in bonuses, with a contract that runs until 2028 with an extra option until 2029.
7:20 am BST: Harwood-Bellis, Mbaye set to join Villa
Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis has been given clearance to travel to Aston Villa and complete his medical ahead of a £30m move, while PSG winger Ibrahim Mbaye has completed his Villa medical ahead of a £47m move.

According to Florian Plettenberg, the Magpies are exploring a move for Matias Fernandez-Pardo from Lille, but nothing is advanced yet. Lille values the winger at €60m.
8:09 am BST: Fofana in talks to join Lyon
Milan midfielder Youssouf Fofana is in talks to join Lyon, according to Matte Moretto. The French midfielder has chosen a return to France.
1:01 pm BST: Everton submit Balogun bid
After the departure of Beto, Everton have submitted an official bid to AS Monaco to activate the Balogun operation.
1:02 pm BST: Barcelona secure signings of young German duo
Barcelona have secured the signings of two young Bundesliga talents; 16-year-old Mikael Baza and 19-year-old Mirza Catovic. Baza signs on a very small transfer fee, and Catovic signs on loan with a €3.5m buy option.
1:07 pm BST: Chelsea’s Camara pursuit OFF, Blues going after Kone
According to Santi Aouna, Chelsea will not go ahead with the Lamine Camara signing despite agreeing a €45m deal. The Blues want Manu Kone instead, and will pursue that option.
1:10 pm BST: David agrees loan move to Atleti
Juventus and Atleti have reached an agreement for the loan of Jonathan David for the 26/27 season. The Canadian will have a buy option, and Atleti will cover more than 50% of his salary, according to Fabrizio Romano.
1:17 pm BST: Indykaila gives Estevao update
Accoring to anonymous Twitter journalist Indykaila, the same one who last night claimed Liverpool’s enquiry into Estevao, has given an update this morning and has said that Chelsea have informed clubs of a valuation of £85m on the Brazilian.
1:20 pm BST: Juventus, Newcastle negotiating Woltemade loan
Juventus are firmly in the driver’s seat for Nick Woltemade’s loan as the two are in negotiations for the German’s loan to Serie A. Woltemade has given his green light to the deal.
1:25 pm BST: Swansea take Monga on loan
Swansea have agreed to take Man City’s 17-year-old talent Jeremy Monga on loan for the season. Monga won’t get many chances this season in a loaded City attack, so will be sent to the Championship to develop.
1:27 pm BST: Spurs working on deal for Tosin
According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are “working on” a deal to bring in Tosin from Chelsea, but it’s only a concrete option if Kevin Danso leaves the club.
3:22 pm BST: Newcastle and Lille agree Fernandez-Pardo fee
Newcastle and Lille have agreed a fee of €60m for Belgian winger Matias Fernandez Pardo. The winger will travel to Newcastle today to complete the deal.
3:24 pm BST: Liverpool announce Barcola deal
Liverpool have finally announced the signing of Bradley Barcola in a move that could rise to €143 million. Barcola becomes new star Liverpool attacker little over 30 hours from the deadline.
3:32 pm BST: Gakpo sale not guaranteed despite City bid
While Man City have made an opening bid for Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo, a sale will not be sanctioned if Liverpool feel it leaves them too thin, reports Ben Jacobs. Liverpool are currently in the market for Yankuba Minteh and Ismaila Sarr as potential replacements, but want assurances that they will be able to sign a replacement if Gakpo leaves.
3:35 pm BST: Alvarez likely to stay at Atleti, still wants Barca, Arsenal still interested
ESPN Argentina reports that the likeliest situation is for Julian Alvarez to stay at Atleti this summer despite having wanted to leave all summer. Barca maintain an interest in the Argentine in future windows, but have given up the chase for the time being. Arsenal are expected to make one final push to convince Alvarez, and could go as far as to put a “Barca clause” in his contract to allow him to join the Catalans in the future.
3:45 pm BST: Sarr situation heating up amid second rejected bid
Liverpool have had a second bid for Ismaila Sarr rejected by Crystal Palace as their pursuit of a Cody Gakpo replacement continues. Sarr is reportedly unhappy and no longer wants to play for Palace, having not shown up for training today. Palace have still shown no intention of letting the Senegalese forward leave, however. If no solution is found, Gakpo will stay.
3:59 pm BST: Juve looking at Hojbjerg, Tagliafico signings
Juventus’ window looks far from over at this stage despite the signing of Pape Matar Sarr. Along with Woltemade, the Bianconeri are also exploring moves for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Nicolas Tagliafico in the next hours.
4:07 pm BST: BREAKING: Messi retires from International football
While not transfer news, the biggest news of the day comes from 39-year-old Lionel Messi, who has decided to retire from the Argentinian national team. In 21 years with the national team, Messi played 207 times, scoring 125 and assisting 68. 21 of those goals came in the World Cup, with Messi becoming the first player in history to reach 20 World Cup goals. Messi led Argentina to the 2021 and 2024 Copa Americas, 2022 World Cup, and 2022 Finallisima trophies. Messi’s staggering consistency on the biggest stage for Argentina is an example for every footballer looking to succeed with their country, having become one of the few players to play in three World Cup finals, as well as appearing in four Copa America finals. 4:37 pm BST: Transfer sagas of four players set to define thrilling end to the Premier League window
The fates of three big six clubs as well as Everton are set to be decided in an interlocked saga of four players – Cody Gakpo, Iliman Ndiaye, Ismaila Sarr, and Richarlison. The lack of progress on the Sarr deal is meaning that Liverpool are set to keep Gakpo as it stands, and despite Spurs and Everton agreeing a swap between Iliman Ndiaye and Richarlison, an impasse in personal terms between Richarlison and Everton has led to Man City once again contacting Ndiaye’s agents ahead of a potential hijacking. After their offer of £75m + £5m in bonuses was rejected, Manchester City have decided to end their pursuit of Cody Gakpo in favour of going after Enzo Fernandez, reports David Ornstein. The Dutch international is now set to stay at Anfield.
5:22 pm BST: Elliot to join Valencia on loan
Liverpool’s Harvey Elliot is set to join Valencia on a loan for 2026/27, with all parties having reached agreements. It will be a straight loan without an option to buy, reports Matteo Moretto.
5:27 pm BST: Arsenal exploring Fofana move before window shuts
According to Fabrice Hawkins, Arsenal are looking into a move for Lyon winger Malick Fofana and have made enquiries. The player is interested in joining the Gunners and has rejected Crystal Palace.
6:12 pm BST: Man Utd pull out of Balde deal
Manchester United have reportedly pulled out of a deal for Alejandro Balde deal due to the deal being too expensive. According to reports, Barcelona wanted €40 million for the 22-year-old who made 28 La Liga appearances for Barcelona last year. United are still exploring left back options ahead of the deadline.
6:29 pm BST: Spurs linked with Chelsea trio before deadline
Mykhailo Mudryk has been the latest Chelsea played to be linked with a switch to Spurs in the last 12 hours, with David Ornstein reporting that Spurs have made an enquiry to sign the Ukranian on loan following his return from suspension. Mudryk joins Robert Sanchez and Tosin Adarabioyo as the latest Chelsea players to be linked to Spurs in the past hours.

Since reopening talks earlier this afternoon, City have progressed switfly in negotiations for Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye. Fabrizio Romano says club-to-club talks are “advancing” while Indykaila reports personal terms have been agreed. Spurs on the verge of a huge transfer fumble.

7:07 pm BST: Quiet end of window expected for Utd
Following the collapse of their Balde move as well as a move for Lewis Hall becoming less feasible, it appears United are happy with their current squad. The board’s main focus is on extending Bruno Fernandes’ contract, which expires in June. If a good left back option arises, United could bite, but they are happy to wait until January or next Summer
7:11 pm BST: Mudryk closing in on Spurs switch, Tosin could be next
A move from Spurs for Mykhailo Mudryk has came out of nowhere and progressed incredibly quickly, with the Ukranian eager to work under Roberto di Zerbi again. Furthermore, with Kevin Danso close to Sunderland, a move for Tosin Adarabioyo is expected to come soon after sealing Mudryk’s arrival.

Chelsea CB Tosin Adarabioyo is set to more to Spurs in a deal worth £7m. All terms have been agreed, and the transfer will be sealed tomorrow.
10:42 pm BST: Mudryk seals Spurs move
Just minutes after Tosin’s move was agreed, Spurs have signed another Chelsea player, bringing in Mykhailo Mudryk on loan. There will be a loan fee and buy option, not mandatory. Di Zerbi was critical to convince Mudryk.

11:19 pm BST: Mudryk buy option set at £75m
The non-mandatory buy option in Mykhailo Mudryk’s Spurs loan will be set at £75m. If triggered, Mudryk would be one of Spurs’ most expensive ever signings.
11:21 pm BST: Grealish to return to Everton on loan
After the Iliman Ndiaye deal to City, Jack Grealish is set to go the other way and rejoin Everton for another year on loan at the Toffees. The Englishman will undergo his medical Tuesday morning.

Man United might not be very active in the market today, but if they are active it will be for a left back. One of the names they’re considering is RB Leipzig’s David Raum. We’ll give you updates as we get them.
1:57 am BST: Balogun agrees switch to Toffees
A deal for American striker Folarin Balogun has been fully agreed on for €45m. Balogun will travel in the coming hours for his medical.
2:29 am BST: Arsenal plan one last push for Alvarez
According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal have prepared a new plan in order to attempt to convince Julian Alvarez to join the club. The Gunners are willing to assist in relocating his extended family, as well as include a “Barca clause” in his contract in order to ensure his move to Barcelona in the future. This could make for a cinematic ending to the window.
3:09 am BST: Dia to join Rennes
Lazio forward Boulaye Dia is set to join Rennes on loan. The striker will have a buy option that could become mandatory, reaching €10m.
4:43 am BST: Newcastle make official approach for Sucic

4:43 pm BST: No Alvarez deal on the cards, Barca and Arsenal done for the day
After Berta left the office and went home for the day, as well as reports of Barcelona’s window being over once they finalize the transfers of Casado, Baza, and Catovic, it has become clear that Julian Alvarez will remain an Atletico Madrid player until at least January.
4:53 pm BST: Liverpool, Everton consider move for Lewelling
Stuttgart forward Jamie Lewelling has been subject of late interest from Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton. However, A contract until 2029 puts Stuttgart under no pressure to sanction a move.
4:57 pm BST: BREAKING: Enzo Fernandez agrees £125m move to Man City

5:22 pm BST: Fofana set to join Sunderland to end a whirlwind saga
After a saga that originally saw Malick Fofana joining Arsenal, then Sunderland, then Palace, it appears the Belgian will at last end in Sunderland. The Black Cats bettered Crystal Palace’s offer and have hijacked the hijack. What a saga.
5:38 pm BST: Chema Andres to join Brighton, Real recieve windfall
Stuttgart midfielder Chema Andres is set to join Brighton & Hove Albion for around £20m to reinforce the midfield. Real Madrid will recieve 50% of the transfer fee due to a sell-on clause, bringing their earnings from sell-on clauses this summer to £100m.
6:05 pm BST: Leeds agree deal for Bahoya
Leeds United have agreed a fee with Frankfurt to sign Jean-Matteo Bahoya. Personal terms have also been agreed. The deal is 95% complete, subject to a medical. Hull City left disappointed.
6:33 pm BST: Palace match Sunderland offer for Fofana
In another twist in the saga, Crystal Palace have matched Sunderland’s salary and agent commission offer for Malick Fofana. Sky reports that Fofana is yet to have boarded his flight to Sunderland and remains in France. The saga remains wide open. Story of the day.
7:00 pm BST: Italy, Germany, France windows close
The transfer windows in Italy, Germany, and France have closed, meaning those clubs will not be able to negotiate any new signings. They can still negotiate departures to English and Spanish clubs, such as in the case of Malick Fofana, and they have a few hours of buffer to finish the paperwork of already advanced deals.
7:47 pm BST: Barcelona sell Fernandez cousins; keep buy back options for both
Barcelona have officially sold cousins Guille and Toni Fernandez to Mallorca and Venezia respectively. Toni Fernandez will join Venezia for £4m, with Barcelona retaining a buy back clause of £23 million in 2027 and £35 million in 2028. Guillermo Fernandez will join Mallorca for £2.2m, retaining first refusal and an undisclosed buy back fee.
7:52 pm BST: Four proposed moves on verge of collapse
As the transfer window nears to a close, four moves that were seen as formalities are on the verge of collapse. First, Louis Page’s proposed move to Manchester United is off after Leicester and United couldn’t find a fee. Nicolas Tagliafico’s move to Atletico Madrid is in jeopardy after no green light has been given as of yet. Finally, Folarin Balogun’s Everton move may be off after the American refused to take a pay cut to join the Toffees, which could then block Monaco from signing Mexican Erik Lira as his replacement.
